Full Moon Eyes

Got to enjoy one of our favorite activities last night, trolling FULL MOON WALLEYES on Otter Tail Lake. While we didn't find a BIG picture fish, we did land 9 walleyes in a 2.5 hours including two 20 inchers. Most of the fish came between 7-9 feet of water. We were trolling cranks at 2.0-2.2 mph. No real preference for color or size, some fish came on a Husky Jerk, some on a Rippin' Rap & most on a #5 Shad Rap. Plus we caught two 29 inch pike & a smallmouth. A great way to celebrate the official start of summer in Otter Tail Lakes Country. Mark your calendars as the next full moon is July 19th. — with Erik Osberg.
