Magoo's Organe Pecan Walleye

From the lake to your plate! Here's a Walleye recipe that's sure to make your taste buds quake!


-1/3 can orange juice concentrate

-1/4 cup chopped figs

-1 peeled appled that is chopped

-2 tsps. butter

-Salt and Pepper

-Olive Oil

-4 Walleye fillets



Saute & Wisk the orange juice concentrate, chopped figs, and apple. In a small sauce pan, add the butter along with a pinch of salt and pepper. Pour into sauteed mixture. Heat until warm. 


Add olive oil, salt, and pepper to a second frying pan. Fry the four walleye fillets. Fry ONLY one side. Flip fillets so fried side is facing up onto an oiled tin foil sheet that is placed over a baking sheet. 


Pour sauteed mixture over the Walleye fillets. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes. 


We recommend serving over a bed of wild rice. Drizzle any extra sauce over the top!
